Navy Fires Commander of USS Howard — Just 6 Months After Relieving Predecessor for Soft Grounding

The Navy “relieved the commanding officer of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Howard, Cmdr. Cameron Dennis, Feb. 6, 2024, due to a loss of confidence in his ability to perform his duties,” the Navy said in its statement.
