NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO – Boatswain’s Mate 1st Class Gustavo Benavides, from Brownsville, Texas, assigned to Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) Littoral Training Facility (LTF) Pacific (PAC), embarked on his Navy career with a passion for service that started in high school. Now serving as an instructor at, Benavides shares his experiences and lessons learned from fleet service to the classroom, helping shape the next generation of Sailors.
